Leadership can be a challenging and elusive concept for many, but The Other Leader programme is here to change that.

Whether you’re currently in a secondary leadership role or aspiring to take on a more prominent role, The Other Leader is designed to empower you with the tools and confidence you need to step up to the table and take the lead.

This programme is built around 12 pillars, which cover everything from self-discovery and personal growth to creating ecosystems for others to thrive and designing high-impact solutions.

The Self pillars aim to provide insights into one’s leadership identity and cultivate disciplined thinking habits.

The Other pillars concentrate on honing skills that elevate others, such as constructing supportive environments, fostering the growth of future leaders, and preserving the respect and honesty of those around you.

The Ecosystem pillars focus on building and designing interdependence, creating high-impact solutions and building communities.

With a flexible approach, you can choose to focus on the pillars that are most important to you, and the programme can be customised to meet your specific needs.

About Lynn

Founder of The Other Leader

The Founder of The Other Leader spent over two decades in the education and media industries respectively. She held various positions, including Chief Membership Officer, Senior Manager of Organisational Development, Manager of Special Projects, Consultant and Trainer.

During her tenure, she grew her expertise in marketing and growing subscription revenue at impressive speed. She built a young team of excellent performers, introduced new payment management systems and created new media products. She started a unique newsletter which grew to 60,0000 subscribers in less than two years and a youth podcast. She facilitated learning visits by independent media in the region, and managed various rigorous projects, including fundraising, managing a building construction, grant management, and coordinating over 100 citizen journalists nationwide.

Her expertise in digital marketing, writing, subscriptions, mentoring and public speaking have allowed her to excel as a consultant for several global media organisations.

Her agility and ability to lead with empathy, integrity, creativity, inclusivity and growth, as well as her skills in staff development, strategic planning, team building and fundraising, make her the ideal leader for The Other Leader.

She founded The Other Leader for the sole reason of helping elevate leadership consciousness through holistic leadership development. She believes that good leaders exist all around us. The Other Leader is designed to equip future leaders with astute confidence and courage to play the authentic role of being servants of the people.

Through education, coaching and community building, she strives to empower individuals and organisations to exercise true leadership based on The Other Leader’s 12 pillars and create a world where true leadership is characterised by a commitment to building ecosystems for others to thrive.

Lynn D’Cruz is a recipient of Google Newsroom Leadership Programme by Columbia University, New York in 2019 and has been awarded with Outstanding Leadership Award in 2023 at the Dubai Education 2.0 Conference.
